Reentry Services
Our Residential Reentry Centers Has the capacity to house federal offenders through contracts with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Blocker & Stella Will Holdings Inc. will provide 24-hour supervision, housing, food services, and intense case management. We also offer services like anger management counseling, cultural diversity training, life-skills training, financial management classes, and substance abuse counseling if needed. Also, NA and AA volunteers will be assessable to the residential and non-residential inmates for weekly meetings.
We fully intend on developing an operation manual for ACA accreditation.
These services help ensure that our residents have all of the tools necessary for them to transition back into their communities, where they can become productive and successful members of society. Programs like
ours will help Georgia to have one of the nation’s lowest rates of recidivism.
The Statistics
The United States has some of the highest recidivism rates in the world. According to the National Institute of Justice, almost 44% of criminals released return before the first year out of prison. Blocker & Stella Will Holdings Inc. is dedicated to the lowering of that number and combating the factors that contribute to recidivism include a person’s social environment and community, their circumstances before incarceration, events during their incarceration, and one of the main reasons is difficulty adjusting back into normal life. Many of these individuals have trouble reconnecting with family and finding a job to support themselves. Incarceration rates in the U.S. began increasing dramatically in the 1990s. The U.S. has the highest prison population if any country, comprising 25% of the world’s prisoners. Prisons are overcrowded, and inmates are forced to live in inhumane conditions, even those who are innocent and awaiting trial. We intend on tackling this issue and joining the Federal Bureau of Prisons in its effort’s, and anyway feasible. (The Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS)
Community Service
The Community Service Program is here to assist offenders’ former offenders and the rebuilding of their lives and becoming productive law-abiding citizens with positive potential and the ability to not reoffend. And it is also the mission of B&SWH to provide a safe, clean, and accessible environment. With the facility have 24-7 staffing and security residents will be afforded what we know and believe to be essential tools that will be gained throughout our facility and programs.
